Health & Welfare


Sallyport provides a choice of medical plans to fit individual preference and needs.  Plans vary by deductible and out-of-pocket maximums; however, each plan provides substantial coverage for primary and specialist care, hospitalization, and prescription medications.


The company’s dental plan offers coverage for preventive care, basic and restorative services, and orthodontia coverage for minor dependents.


The company’s vision plan fully covers annual examinations as well as coverage for frames, lenses, and contact lenses. Discounts for LASIK surgery are also included.


Sallyport offers employees a 401(k) plan in which to invest and save for retirement. The plan allows for pre-tax or ROTH employee contributions, and the company may provide a discretionary match on a quarterly basis.

To help maximize investment options and retire savings, employees have 24/7/365 access to online retirement planning advice and tools through the company’s 401(k) plan record-keeper.

Employees receive Paid Time Off (PTO) for vacations or when they need time away from work. Sallyport provides eight paid holidays per calendar year.

Life & Disability

Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance

Sallyport provides basic life & AD&D insurance coverage to employees at a rate of 1.5 times their annual base salaries up to $1 million. Optionally, employees may purchase additional life insurance in increments of 0.5, 1.5 or 2.5 times their annual base salaries up to $1 million. Employees also can purchase spousal and child dependent life insurance coverage.

Short and Long-Term Disability

Sallyport provides short-term disability as income replacement and Long-term disability is available as partial income. Employees have the option to buy-up to 60 percent of partial income replacement as part of the disability benefit.

Health Care Accounts

Depending on medical plan choice, employees have the option to participate in either a flexible spending account or a health savings account. By utilizing either of these accounts, employees can set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for future health-related expenses.

Dependent Care Accounts

Similar to the health care accounts, dependent care accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible dependent care expenses.


The Employee Assistance Program is a confidential program designed to assist employees with life-challenges that threaten emotional, financial and mental well-being.

Throughout the year, we offer to our employees a variety of wellness initiatives, including flu shots, health assessments and biometrics screenings.
