Sallyport is a proud signatory company of the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) International Code of Conduct. “The ISOA Code of Conduct, represents a constructive effort towards better regulating private sector operations in conflict and post-conflict environments and disaster relief. It reflects our belief that high standards will both benefit the industry and serve the greater causes of peace,development, and human security.”

The International Stability Operations Association (ISOA), a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade association, founded in 2001 as the International Peace Operations Association (IPOA).

“ISOA is committed to raising the standards of the peace and stability operations industry to ensure sound and ethical professionalism and transparency in the conduct of peacekeeping and post-conflict reconstruction activities.”

Sallyport is a proud member of the Private Security Company Association of Iraq (PSCAI), “a non-profit organization formed and maintained to discuss and address matters of mutual interest and concern to the industry conducting operations in Iraq. The PSCAI seeks to work closely with the Iraqi Government and foster a relationship of trust and understanding.”

 

 

Sallyport recognizes and complies with the Voluntary Principles on security and human rights. “The Voluntary Principles were collectively developed by the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway, the Netherlands, Canada, Colombia, and Switzerland, NGO’s, and companies all with an interest to develop human rights, security and corporate social responsibility guidelines.

The participants recognize the importance of the promotion and protection of human rights throughout the world and the constructive role business and civil society — including non-governmental organizations, labor/trade unions, and local communities — can play in advancing these goals. The participants have developed the voluntary principles to guide companies in maintaining the safety and security of their operations within an operating framework that ensures respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.”

 

All Sallyport fire service personnel are trained to Pro Board standards through the Bucks County Community College – an accredited agency.

“The Pro Board was incorporated in 1990 as the “National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications”, a non-profit corporation, commonly known as The Pro Board. The purpose of the Pro Board is to establish an internationally recognized means of acknowledging professional achievement in the fire service and related fields. The Pro Board accredits organizations that use the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA’s) professional qualification standards.
