Sallyport’s teams, at all levels, from incident commanders and remediation specialists, to translators, technicians and laborers, come with impressive qualifications, experience and certification, providing clients with the best HAZMAT resources available. Incident Commanders require 8 years of hazardous materials management, including responding and correcting hazardous materials incidents. They are also required to hold 40 hour hazardous waste operations and emergency response certification, and OSHA 8-hour on-scene incident command certification. All other employees have equally impressive qualifications and experience.

Sallyport provides the United States government with extensive HAZMAT resources, and currently deploys 90 specialist employees, across eight sites, providing Multi National Corps Iraq with 24/7 comprehensive spill response; from containment to remediation execution, HAZMAT re-packaging to shipping.There are a wide variety of environmental areas that require rapid response, or long term management, and Sallyport HAZMAT teams have the capacity to carry out the most demanding of tasks, in the most demanding places. SALLYPORT HAZMAT AND ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION OPERATIONS

  • In Iraq, Sallyport provides the Multi-National Corps with the management, equipment and personnel to carry out environmental spill response and remediation support of hazardous material/hazardous waste. It provides six incident response teams, made up of around 90 specialists. The teams are located on separate sites and have immediate responsibility for Hazardous Material / Hazardous Waste (HM/HW) spill response 24/7.
  • Also in Iraq, 50 Sallyport HAZMAT specialists carry out hazardous waste packaging and transport for disposal, for the USG. Hazardous waste is stored at a centralized location, repackaged if required, and shipped by a Sallyport transportation team to hazardous waste treatment facilities for disposal. Together, both contracts utilize the full range of Sallyport’s specialty services, as listed above.
  • In USA, Sallyport provided Whiteman and Holloman Air force bases with Hazardous Materials operations, as part of a comprehensive package of Fire and Emergency Services.
