  • In numerous locations in South Sudan, Sallyport, working with partners BBG under a Department of State contract, provides construction oversight for the placement of various Force Protection measures for USAID.
  • In various remote locations in South Sudan, Sallyport, in partnership with Arkel, provides architectural and engineering assessments for four major SPLA military hospital facilities and 10 medical clinics.
  • Juba, South Sudan, Sallyport constructed a secure compound, complete with radio studios and FM transmitter for USAID. The station is now providing daily news, information, and entertainment, in support of the clients’ mission. Poor roads, floods and political instability, challenge Sallyport’s design and construction teams on a daily basis. To date, it has had 100% success rate on successful completion of clients’ projects.
  • In Duar, South Sudan, as part of a $14 million infrastructure and civil works project for State and Bureau of African Affairs Africa Peacekeeping Program contract, Sallyport provided Phase II building of 2,500 square meters of facilities for the Sudan People’s Liberation Army. It is now functioning as a Division Headquarters and Military Post for 1,100 troops. It includes 15 barracks buildings, armories, latrines, fuel stations, soccer fields, parade grounds, maintenance areas, and various other buildings. It is an important component in the stabilization of the region and the future of the new country.
  • In the United States, Sallyport worked for the Federal Emergency Agency, providing for the site preparation, utilities, landscaping and installation of over 1,000 travel trailers to residential sites in five Louisiana parishes, in support of Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief efforts.
