Overview:
Sallyport under the Air Force Contingency Augmentation Program (AFCAP) Contract working for URS is providing logisticians at Al Dhafra, UAE; Ali Al Salem, Kuwait; Sather AB, Balad AB, Ali AB (formerly Tallil), Kirkuk AB, Iraq, and Manas AB, Kyrgyzstan. Personnel are assisting in the planning, management, and execution of replacement vehicle component program for Air Expeditionary Forces (AEF) rotations.
Scope of Services:
Sallyport provided single supply Base Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) technician services at U.S. Air Force bases in Iraq, UAE, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan. It personnel provided continuity, planning, accountability, and reporting of deployed expeditionary assets and accountable tools.
- Develop & updated inventories of deployed expeditionary assets monthly and forward to the applicable Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron's Supply Sections (379th, 386th, 447th, 407th, 506th, 332nd or 755th).
- Assisted Civil Engineering Shops with tracking of tools and shop equipment.
- Inventoried & generated status reports of deployed Mission Ready Spares Package (MRSP).
- Coordinated with War Readiness Material (WRM) reconstitution contractor on transfer of assets.
- Worked closely with the Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron (ELRS) on supply accountability issues.
- Provided guidance/assistance to Civil Engineering shops on the proper procedures used to replace Harvest Falcon equipment/assets.
- Assisted the Harvest Falcon manager with operation of the Harvest Falcon equipment yard.
- Coordinated with ACC/Regional Supply Squadron (RSS) on asset/equipment accountability issues.
